The Department of Technical Services, Building and Estates has a permanent position for Artisan Painter at the Soshanguve Campus.


Key Performance areas/ Core functions:

•    Drawing interpretation
•    Flexbond-potland cement admixture
•    Special finishes
•    Special paint polyurethane
•    Wood sealer
•    Creosote


Minimum requirements

•    N2 and completed apprenticeship and proof of passing a trade test in terms of the provision of section 13(2) of the Manpower Training act, 1981, as amended, or a Certificate issued under the provision of section 28 or 30 of the Manpower Training Act, 1981.
•    Conversant with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
•    2 years relevant experience
•    Concrete
•    Décor wallpaper Co
•    Paint products
•    Required to work over time
•    Valid driver’s license
•    Own transport
•    Doing after-hour standby duties and attend to call-outs
