Over view
An exciting new position has been created by NFS
Hospitality, a leading international provider of hospitality, facilities and
events management software. The position will report to the GM of NFS South
Africa and will require well rounded experience in software implementation and
training of at least 3 years. The role is wide ranging and will include project
planning, software installation, user training and client relationship
management.
Duties (General) and Responsibilities:

You will be working with leading South African
and potentially international companies and be part of a small and dynamic NFS
team in South Africa.
·
Sound software implementation experience is
required, knowledge of the meeting and events business would be very beneficial
and good communication skills are essential.
·
The position will report to the GM of NFS South
Africa and will require well rounded experience in software implementation and
training of at least 3 years. The role is wide ranging and will include project
planning, software installation, user training and client relationship
management.
·
Opportunities for travel in South Africa and
possibly internationally and a package to suit experience and responsibilities
assumed will be made available. This is an important position linked to the
launch of a new NFS software solution in 2014.

The position will be based out of the NFS
offices in Kyalami Johannesburg.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
·
Principles and practices of supervision,
personnel, and finance management.
·
Equipment and personnel requirements in
presenting public entertainments, attractions, and conventions.
·
Business practices as they pertain to billing
and contractual arrangements for tenants of theatrical or public assembly
facility.
·
Management and operational procedures of
convention/cultural center and public assembly facilities.
·
Laws and regulations relating to public safety.
Ability to:
·
Perform a broad range of supervisory
responsibilities over others.
·
Analyze policies and procedures for timeliness
and effectiveness
· Interpret and enforce fire and safety codes.
·
Communicate orally, in the English language,
with individuals in a face-to-face, one-on-one or group setting, or by
telephone.
·
Produce documents written in the English
language with clearly organized thoughts using proper sentence construction,
punctuation, and grammar.
·
Establish cooperative working relationships with
employees, lessees, municipal officials, service contractors, and the public.
·
Serve and control large numbers of people
effectively and solve problems common to public assembly.
·
Work safely without presenting a direct threat
to self or others.
