Job Title: General Worker, (Tourism - Housekeeping) 2 Year Contract, Kogelberg Nature Reserve

CapeNature seeks to employ a General Worker,(Tourism - Housekeeping), 1x Post based at Kogelberg Nature Reserve on a two year contract with a salary R59 0003 per annum (TCoE).



RESPONSIBILITIES:

¨        Service (clean) all tourism facilities on site as and when required to Standard Operational Procedure. This includes the visitor accommodation eco-cabins, multi-functional facility and the nature reserve office complex.

¨        Maintenance of surrounding grounds/gardens.

¨        Ensure that cabins, camp area and all public tourist facilities are clean and tidy at all times.

 REQUIREMENTS:

¨        Related experience in house cleaning services.

¨        Experience in garden maintenance.

¨        Work flexi-time, after-hours, weekends and public holidays.

¨        Bilingual in two of the three official language of the Western Cape.

¨        Good communication and customer relations skills & willingness to learn

¨        Code B drivers license

 RECOMMENDATIONS:

¨        Physically fit

¨        Sober habits

¨        Previous experience and interest in eco-tourism or general tourism industry will be advantageous.



    Preference will be given to candidates from the previously disadvantaged population groups.
